As a child I was fascinated by learning about the world in general, countries, places, people and that's where my passion for traveling comes in.
This morning I came across this article "New 7 Wonders vs. Ancient 7 Wonders" from the National Geographic (Link at the bottom of the page).

As I was trying to get more information, I came across this website!
The official global voting platform of New7Wonders and found it very interesting to see their various campaigns for the next vote, from "The most beautiful Island Nation" to "The 7 best Scientist in the World" .
Currently, the website is asking people to vote for the 28 finalist of "Vote for the New7Wonders of Nature"
The site encourages visitors to start their own campaign. What would you like to do your campaign on?
Most of us are drawn to seeing and reading about beautiful, colourful, gorgeous places and people. I WONDER, if the the 7 wonders website did some serious voting! Let's say, the 7 worst places to live on this planet, the 7 poorest countries, the 7 malnourished places for kids to grow up, the 7 places with least education and so on....something to think about...why not create a website dedicated to so not beautiful but real stuff happening in our world and trying to use voting system to change them...something to think about! And if you know of such a website please do share....
